Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the website at rugged.engineering and to every app published by Rugged Engineering LLC ("we", "us"), including apps distributed through the Apple App Store. The short version: we do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data.

Our apps

Our apps do not collect any data about you or your device.

• No accounts or sign-in.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
• No third-party SDKs that collect data.
• Anything you enter in an app, such as settings or notes, stays on your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes that data. If you use iCloud or device backups, Apple handles that data under its own privacy policy.
• If an app asks for permission to use a device feature, such as the camera or Bluetooth, it uses that feature only on your device and does not send the results to us.

Information Apple may provide

Apple runs the App Store and handles purchases, downloads and payments. We do not receive your name, email or payment details from those transactions. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you, and we use them only to fix problems. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. Apple's handling of data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking or forms. All fonts and files are served from this site, so your browser does not contact third parties when you visit.

Like any website, our hosting provider may record standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify you.

Email

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, and we do not add you to any mailing list. Ask us at any time and we will delete your messages.

Children

Our website and apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, we have nothing to sell, share, correct or delete. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence. These rights apply under laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If we ever begin collecting data, we will update this policy before any app or website change that does so is released.
